     Since Barr Private Care opened its doors in March of 1992, there has been an overwhelming community response due to our dedicated and caring staff and the economical and efficient quality of care.

     The business of providing quality private duty in a safe environment and individualizing care plans is the company mission. Since its inception, Barr has fostered a health presence in the Kansas City community and has established an excellent reputation with social workers, home health and hospice organizations.

     Referral response time for service is within 24 hours. Services provided are, personal care assistance, transfers and ambulating assistance, meal preparation, homemaking, sleep-overs, coordination of home maintenance, companionship, bath visits, medication reminders and appointment management.

     The counties serviced in Missouri are Platte, Clay, Jackson and Clinton. In Kansas they are Leavenworth, Wyandotte and Johnson.

     Matching personalities of caregivers to those of the client is a priority. The caregivers work hard to establish relationships with each client so they feel as comfortable as possible. Barr Private Care not only enters their client's homes but their hearts as well.
